How Should Explanations Be Organised?

One way of dividing this up would be by medium: painting, music, photography, sculpture, literature, film, decoupage.

There’s also context: magazine, broadcast TV, the Internet, book, art gallery. The use of BY-SA photographs as magazine article illustrations is one of the most common surprises for people (the article doesn’t have to be made BY-SA).

The law and therefore how the licences work varies from country to country, so it’s important to reflect this. Moral rights work differentlin different jurisdictions for example.

Is there a better way of organizing this? How would you like to organize or find information about licenses?

develop a q & a

I am thinking that the first step might be to go through all the mailing lists to work out what the most popular questions are. It may be worth having some kind of meeting to discuss how to present the Q&A and how to answer each question. I though word press might be a good external site to gather the information. If anyone has a better idea, please list it.
